Get Ready for Your First Splash
Your first day at Miller Swim School marks the start of an exciting journey. From what to bring to where to watch your swimmer, here’s everything you need to know to jump in with confidence.
When to Sign Up
Lessons at Miller Swim School follow a perpetual schedule, meaning you can start anytime and keep progressing without interruption. Consistency and frequency are key to building skills and confidence!
Arriving at Your Lesson
Please arrive 15 minutes early on your first day to complete registration, tour the facility, and get acclimated. Once you're in the routine, arriving 5–10 minutes early works for most families.
What to Bring
A swimsuit and towel are all you need for a great swim lesson! For baby swimmers, be sure to pack a reusable swim diaper. Some swimmers also choose to bring goggles and a swim cap for extra comfort.
You won’t need to bring shampoo, soap, or hair dryers—our large changing areas and post-lesson amenities have you covered. And if you forget something, we’ve got swimsuits, goggles, towels, and more available for purchase.
Where to Watch
Watch lessons comfortably from our climate-controlled viewing areas. For safety and focus, we ask that parents remain in these areas unless invited for special activities like Splash-N-Tell.
