Meet the SafeSplash Englewood Team

Shawn and Veronica are very happy to be able to bring water-safety and swim instruction to the community. Married in 2022, they have been living in Colorado for many years. Shawn has worked in telecommunications for over 25 years and Veronica has spent many years in Nursing. They love the outdoors and spend a lot of time in the mountains of Colorado hiking, kakaying and just exploring. Shawn loves to swim and spends a lot of his spare time scuba diving. Shawn and Veronica hope to get more kids and adults involved in water sports in a safe and fun way through this program.

Favorite thing about swim lessons: I embrace the opportunity to be a positive and fun coach that will never give up. I found my vocation here with SafeSplash and I get great joy from serving as a mentor, coach and trainer to some of the most funny, energetic, creative and insightful individuals. I am so proud to invest my time into positive connections with others that are based on kindness and gentleness. My 30+ years of aquatic instruction, give me several tools and techniques. SafeSplash gives us an airtight lesson plan, delivering that with consistent structure and a good time. That’s the game plan!

I look forward to floating in amazement as I witness your kiddos, overcome fears, persevere through failure, and watch as their personalities develop with the confidence gained.

Favorite thing outside of work to do: Tropical scuba diving.

Favorite food: ribeye stake and pineapple upside down cake.
