Meet the AquaKids Keller Team

Danny is the general manager for AquaKids Keller and Flower Mound. He has been running aquatics and youth sports programs at multiple organizations across D/FW for the past 18 years. He is very passionate about water safety and the difference swimming can make in a child's life. We are excited to see what his experience in building relationships, creating community, and his drive to build high quality programs for kids will add. Danny has worked with the YMCA, Fort Worth Drowning Prevention Coalition, and local school districts to implement water safety programs. When not working he enjoys spending time with his family, taking in live music, and playing disc golf.

My name is Emily Balaun, and I am the Assistant General Manager of Keller AquaKids. I have been working with AquaKids for the past two years in a variety of positions. I have a deep passion for working with children and take pride in helping them build confidence and develop essential life skills through swimming. Currently, I am pursuing a degree in Child Development at Texas Woman's University, where I am furthering my commitment to care and service. My experience in both management and child-focused environments has equipped me with strong leadership and communication skills, and I am excited to continue making a positive impact in both fields.

Hi! I'm Tina and I am the Recruiting Manager for AquaKids. I have been with AquaKids for over 4 years but have been in the Aquatics world for over 15 years. I enjoy the latest Disney movies and soundtracks and am always ready to make you smile. I am passionate about the importance of water safety for all ages but specifically for swimmers with special abilities. One of my aspirations is to one day open a swimming facility that will hold semi-private or private lessons for special abilities. I was previously a General Manager at 2 of our locations and have made a transition to our Recruiting Department over the past year. I enjoy the hiring process and bringing staff members that are passion about lessons and ready to make a difference in our swimmers' lives.
