Amir is the General Manager of AquaKids McKinney. Amir is an effective communicator and good leader. Amir is a former competitive swimmer. His experience with proper stroke technique is evident in his approach to teaching how to swim. Amir’s hobbies including weightlifting, fishing, and exploring the outdoors. Amir is currently enrolled at UT Dallas pursuing a BBA in Business Management. Amir resides in Plano, TX.

Hey, I'm Leila! I was a competitive swimmer during high school and did orchestra for six years. My hobbies include, swimming, playing video games and hanging out with my family. I'm currently working towards my associates degree for commercial photography and I hope to become forensic photographer.
Abigail, Training Manager
Abigail is the Training Manager of AquaKids McKinney. Ms. Abigail is an awesome advocate for creating relationships with the kiddos and parents! She has a passion for creating a fun and efficient environment when teaching and leading her fellow staff. Abigail's hobbies include shopping, spending time with her friends and family, and swimming. Abigail is currently working towards being a child therapist and babysitting in her spare time.
Tina, Recruiting Manager
Hi! I'm Tina and I am the Recruiting Manager for AquaKids. I have been with AquaKids for over 4 years but have been in the Aquatics world for over 15 years. I enjoy the latest Disney movies and soundtracks and am always ready to make you smile. I am passionate about the importance of water safety for all ages but specifically for swimmers with special abilities. One of my aspirations is to one day open a swimming facility that will hold semi-private or private lessons for special abilities. I was previously a General Manager at 2 of our locations and have made a transition to our Recruiting Department over the past year. I enjoy the hiring process and bringing staff members that are passion about lessons and ready to make a difference in our swimmers' lives.
Angel, District Manager
Angel is the District Manager of AquaKids. Angel has been with AquaKids for many years and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities. Angel is passionate about coaching which stems from his years of coaching soccer and swimming. In his free time, Angel enjoys golf and running his wedding photography and videography business with his wife. Angel resides in Fort Worth, TX.

Pedro became a valued member of the SafeSplash family as the Manager of our McKinney Custer location, bringing his passion for learning and leadership to the team. In addition to his role at SafeSplash, he is currently pursuing a pre-medicine degree at the University of Texas at Dallas, with the goal of becoming a pediatrician. Born and raised in Brazil, Pedro discovered his love for swimming at a young age. He understands that learning to swim can feel intimidating, which is why he is dedicated to creating a supportive and encouraging environment for every swimmer. His commitment to fostering confidence in the water makes him an integral part of the SafeSplash community. Beyond his professional and academic pursuits, Pedro enjoys music, traveling, and exploring new cuisines—he’s always on the lookout for great restaurant recommendations! His dedication to both his students and team, combined with his passion for helping others, makes him a key player in ensuring a positive experience for families at the McKinney Custer Road location.
Jeremiah became a valued member of the SafeSplash family in the summer of 2024 and has been making an impact ever since! His passion for the water extends beyond the pool, as he enjoys scuba diving and fishing in his free time. When he’s not in the water, you can often find him at the gym, always pushing himself to improve. Jeremiah excels at teaching Intermediate 2 and Adult lessons, where he focuses on refining technique and building confidence in swimmers of all levels. His patience and dedication create a supportive learning environment, helping students reach their full potential. With his love for fitness, adventure, and teaching, Jeremiah brings both skill and enthusiasm to every lesson, making him an integral part of the SafeSplash team!
Coach Bella, a valued member of the SafeSplash family since the winter of 2024! As a passionate volleyball player, she brings teamwork, dedication, and a motivating spirit to her swim lessons. Specializing in Adult classes, Coach Bella enjoys helping swimmers gain confidence in the water, whether they’re just starting out or refining their technique. Her patient and encouraging approach ensures that every swimmer feels comfortable, supported, and empowered on their aquatic journey.
Coach Elizabeth, a dedicated member of the SafeSplash family since the winter of 2024! With a passion for making swimming accessible to everyone, she specializes in teaching Adaptive Aquatics, creating a supportive and inclusive environment for swimmers of all abilities. Outside of the pool, Coach Elizabeth enjoys playing video games, bringing creativity and problem-solving skills into her teaching approach. Her patience, enthusiasm, and commitment to each swimmer’s success make her a valued instructor on the team.
Coach Drew, a dedicated member of the SafeSplash family since the fall of 2024! With a passion for fitness and strength training, he brings discipline and motivation from the gym into his swim lessons. Specializing in Intermediate 2, Coach Drew enjoys helping swimmers refine their technique, build endurance, and gain confidence in the water. His energetic and encouraging approach ensures that every swimmer is challenged while feeling supported in their progress.
Coach Semhal, a dedicated member of the SafeSplash family since the spring of 2024! She brings her passion for swimming and teaching to the Intermediate 1 and Intermediate 2 levels. With a strong interest in medicine, she values precision, patience, and care—qualities that shine through in her lessons. Coach Semhal is committed to helping swimmers refine their technique, build confidence, and develop a deeper understanding of water safety. Her supportive and detail-oriented approach ensures that every swimmer progresses in a positive and encouraging environment.
Coach Meher, a dedicated member of the SafeSplash family since 2023, has truly made a splash! With experience in special education, she brings patience, understanding, and a personalized approach to every lesson. As an Adaptive Aquatics instructor, she is passionate about creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all swimmers. Coach Meher specializes in teaching Toddler Transition and Beginner 1, where she helps young swimmers build confidence, develop foundational skills, and foster a love for the water. Her warm and encouraging teaching style ensures that every swimmer feels safe, supported, and excited to learn.
Ms. Eshah has been a dedicated member of the SafeSplash family since 2022, contributing in various roles before stepping into her current position as Assistant Manager for our McKinney and Garland schools. Passionate about serving her community, she prioritizes encouragement and support in every aspect of her work. A student at the University of North Texas, Ms. Eshah is pursuing a degree in Health Sciences, furthering her commitment to helping others. Outside of work and school, she enjoys spending quality time with her friends, family, and fiancé. Her leadership, dedication, and compassionate approach make her an invaluable part of the SafeSplash team!
