Coach Zoya, a wonderful addition to the SafeSplash family since the summer of 2023! Her arrival has brought a kind and gentle spirit to every class she teaches, creating a positive and nurturing environment for our swimmers. Coach Zoya finds particular joy in teaching at the Beginner 2 and 3 levels, where her patience and encouraging demeanor help young swimmers build foundational skills with confidence.
Aarav, a junior in high school, joined the SafeSplash team in 2024. With a passion for swimming and water safety, Aarav is dedicated to creating a positive and supportive environment where students can gain confidence and master essential swimming skills. In addition to his role at SafeSplash, Aarav is an active member of his school’s chess club, where he sharpens his strategic thinking and competitive spirit. Outside of swimming and chess, Aarav enjoys exploring STEM projects, spending time with friends and family, and volunteering in his community. He aims to inspire others to embrace swimming as a vital life skill and a source of lifelong enjoyment.
Diego joined the SafeSplash family in 2023 and brings his enthusiasm and dedication to both the Garland and Prosper locations. As a lifeguard-certified team member, he ensures safety is always a top priority. A junior at Dallas College, Diego is pursuing a degree in Sciences, balancing his academic journey with his passion for making a positive impact. In his free time, Diego dives into the world of comic books and superheroes, fueling his imagination and love for storytelling. Whether in the water or exploring new adventures through his favorite heroes, Diego is committed to creating a fun, safe, and inspiring environment for everyone he meets.
Coach Stephanie has been a beloved part of the SafeSplash family since 2022, bringing her warmth, expertise, and signature friendly smile to every interaction. Her dedication to excellence in the water has earned her the well-deserved roles of Lead Instructor and Trainer, as well as Assistant Manager for the Garland location and Team Trainer for Prosper. With a deep passion for teaching, Coach Stephanie takes pride in guiding swimmers through the Beginner 2 and Intermediate 1 levels. Her skillful instruction, combined with her upbeat and encouraging demeanor, creates a positive and nurturing environment where swimmers can thrive. Coach Stephanie’s commitment to helping her students master foundational and intermediate skills makes her an invaluable member of the SafeSplash team!
Coach Chinedu joined the SafeSplash team in the spring of 2024 and serves as a lead instructor and trainer. Currently a student at the University of North Texas, he combines his academic pursuits with his passion for teaching swimming. His favorite levels to teach are Beginner 1 and 2, where he enjoys helping young swimmers build foundational skills and grow their confidence in the water. Dedicated to safety and personal growth, Coach Chinedu strives to inspire every student to reach their full potential both in and out of the pool.
Coach Miller joined the SafeSplash team in 2024 and serves as a lead instructor and trainer. Lifeguard certified and highly skilled, he is dedicated to ensuring students feel confident and supported in the water. As a senior in high school, Coach Miller is also pursuing his CNA certification, showcasing his commitment to caregiving and helping others. His favorite levels to teach are Beginner 4 and Intermediate 1, where he thrives on guiding swimmers to develop foundational skills and advance their techniques. Outside the pool, Coach Miller is passionate about fostering safety, growth, and success in all his students.
Coach Stephen joined the SafeSplash family in the spring of 2024 and quickly became a beloved instructor. In addition to being lifeguard certified, he is currently in school pursuing his EMT license, further demonstrating his commitment to safety and helping others. Stephen’s favorite levels to teach are Adults and Intermediates, where he excels at helping swimmers build confidence and refine their skills. Outside the pool, he is dedicated to water safety and passionate about empowering others to achieve their goals in swimming.
Coach Cade is a newer member of the SafeSplash team, but he has already made a big splash with his enthusiasm and dedication. With a background in various athletic sports, including playing for his high school's rugby team, Cade brings a strong sense of teamwork and discipline to his role. He is also actively involved in Student Council and the National Honor Society. Coach Cade’s favorite levels to teach are Beginner 1 and 3, where he enjoys helping swimmers gain confidence and refine their skills. Outside the pool, he is passionate about leadership, community involvement, and inspiring others to succeed.
Coach Julia joined the SafeSplash family in the spring of 2024, and despite her humorous struggle with reading a clock, she has quickly become a fan favorite! Known for her infectious energy, she brings fun and laughter to every class, creating a positive and engaging environment for all her students. Coach Julia’s favorite levels to teach are Toddler Transition and Beginner 2, where she thrives on helping young swimmers build confidence and develop key skills in the water. Outside of the pool, she balances her free time by spending it with friends and family, indulging in her Sephora habit, and embracing her love for shopping. Her passion for making learning enjoyable is what makes her classes so memorable!
Coach Payas joined the SafeSplash family at the start of 2025 and has made a splash! With a strong passion for the medical field, he is on track to graduate as a Certified Nursing Assistant. As a former competitive swimmer, he brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to every lesson, helping students build confidence and refine their technique in the water. His favorite levels to teach are Beginner 1 and Beginner 3, where young swimmers take their first strokes and gain confidence in their abilities. His dedication to learning and helping others shines through, making him a valued and inspiring member of the SafeSplash team!
Coach Tarun joined the SafeSplash family in 2025 and has made a splash! As a sophomore in high school and a competitive swimmer on his school’s team, he brings both passion and experience to every lesson. His favorite levels to teach are Beginner 4 and Intermediate 1, where swimmers build technique and endurance in the water. Whether he’s training in the pool or helping his students improve their skills, Coach Tarun loves sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm for the sport. His dedication to swimming and commitment to his students make him a valued member of the SafeSplash team!
Coach Maanu joined the SafeSplash family at the start of 2025 and has made a splash! As a dedicated competitive swimmer on her high school team, she brings a deep passion for the sport to every lesson. Whether she’s training in the pool, excelling in school, or helping her students master new skills, Coach Maanu loves pushing her limits and inspiring others to do the same. Her favorite levels to teach are Intermediate 2 and Advanced 1, where she thrives on building swimmers' confidence and refining their technique. With her competitive spirit and commitment to growth, Coach Maanu is always ready to help her students reach new heights in the water!
Coach Ryan joined the SafeSplash family in the winter of 2024 and has made a splash! With a passion for football, weightlifting, and engineering, he brings a driven and determined energy to everything he does—both in and out of the water. Coach Ryan loves pushing his limits, whether it's on the field, in the gym, or helping his students conquer new swimming skills. His favorite levels to teach are Beginner 4 and Intermediate 1, where he thrives on helping swimmers build confidence and refine their technique.
