Lessons also help boost confidence and self-esteem, empowering swimmers to enjoy water activities and reach personal milestones.
Individualized and Inclusive
Our Adaptive Aquatics program tailors every lesson to the swimmer’s unique abilities and goals. Whether focusing on basic water safety or developing advanced skills, we prioritize comfort, flexibility, and progress at each swimmer’s pace.

Flexible, Goal-Oriented Lessons
We collaborate with families to create individualized lesson plans that align with each swimmer’s abilities and objectives. Lessons incorporate foundational safety and swimming skills while adapting to each child’s needs and pace.
Programs Designed for Every Need
Therapeutic Aquatic Program (T.A.P.): This program focuses on swimmers with muscular challenges or limited head control. By leveraging water’s buoyancy and hydrostatic pressure, we help children improve strength and mobility with the support of a caregiver or therapist.
Adaptive Swim Levels: Our structured framework includes three levels that guide swimmers with special abilities through water safety and foundational swimming skills. The levels are flexible, ensuring personalized plans that meet individual goals.
Getting Started
Our Adaptive Aquatics program begins with an online questionnaire to understand your swimmer’s needs and goals. Afterward, we schedule an on-site orientation at Sacramento (Midtown) to develop a personalized lesson plan. Private lessons are recommended for safety and tailored instruction. Together, we’ll help your swimmer progress at their pace while achieving meaningful milestones.
