Your first day at Saf-T-Swim Smithtown marks the start of an exciting journey. From what to bring to where to watch your swimmer, here’s everything you need to know to jump in with confidence.
Arriving at Your Lesson
Please arrive 15 minutes early on your first day to complete registration, tour the facility, and get acclimated. Once you're in the routine, arriving 5–10 minutes early works for most families.
What to Bring
- Goggles
- Swimsuit
- Swim cap
- Towel
- Reusable swim diaper (for children under 3 or not fully potty trained)

Where to Watch
Parents observe lessons from poolside seating. For safety and focus, we ask parents to maintain distance from swimmers unless invited for special activities.
